Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

Have you recently completed a degree in a STEM subject and want to inspire the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, and engineers?

KPI Education is delighted to be working with a successful secondary school in Liverpool to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time, long-term role starting September 2025


  • Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week (term-time only)


  • Earn up to £560 per week


  • Based at a thriving secondary school in Liverpool with a strong STEM focus


  • Graduates with a 2:1 or above in Maths, Science, Engineering, or Computing encouraged to apply


  • Provide academic support to pupils in KS3 and KS4 across STEM subjects


  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to raise attainment and boost understanding


  • Learn from expert teachers and gain insight into innovative STEM teaching approaches


  • Excellent preparation for Teacher Training applications in 2026


  • Interviews taking place in August/September


    About the Role

    As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students in lessons, breaking down complex topics and encouraging curiosity in STEM subjects. You’ll deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to improve confidence, problem-solving skills, and academic performance in key areas such as Maths, Science, and Computing.
