North Devon | Up to £29,000 DOE plus Bonus | Day Shift | 4.5 Days Per Week | PermanentAcorn by Synergie is searching for a proactive and motivated Storeman / Goods In & Despatch Operative on behalf of a reputable and rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in North Devon.

Key Duties:- Pack goods accurately from picking lists, following strict despatch procedures.
- Generate despatch notes and all associated shipping documentation.
- Raise goods received notes and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor supplier delivery dates to ensure on-time performance.
- Liaise internally with Department Heads, Commercial, and P&L teams.
- Use carrier systems including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Palletforce.
- Ensure correct carrier selection based on client and destination.
- Support warehouse operations, ensuring stock movement is recorded correctly.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Previous experience in a goods in / goods out / shipping & receiving role.
- Familiarity with carrier platforms and logistics documentation.
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience working with or understanding of LEAN materials management principles is desirable.
- Permanent, full-time position in a stable and growing organisation.
- Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- Annual bonus scheme (discretionary).
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:45pm; Friday 8am - 12pm (4.5-day working week).
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with the option to buy or sell up to one week).
