Your new company
Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for supporting older people to live independently? We're seeking a confident and compassionateLocal Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a retirement living scheme for a 10-week temporary assignment.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure health & safety and compliance checks are completed and recorded
- Manage repairs, voids, lettings, and contractor relationships
- Support residents with tenancy sustainment and wellbeing
- Respond to anti-social behaviour and complaints appropriately
- Promote social inclusion through activities and community partnerships
- Maintain accurate records and support residents with benefit entitlements
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in housing, support, or community-based roles
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, resident-focused approach
- ICT proficiency and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and professional boundaries
What you'll get in return
