Job Responsibilities
- Monday 10am to 5pm, Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Friday 10am to 4pm
- Provide tailored housing support and guidance to clients, assisting them in securing and maintaining suitable accommodation.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
- Offer advice on tenancy rights, responsibilities, and available housing options.
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering emotional support and practical assistance.
- Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to facilitate access to additional resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to promote best practices.
- Monitor client progress and adjust support strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in housing support, social work, or related fields is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for case management and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of tenancy laws, housing regulations, and local authority procedures.
- Confident in report writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a busy environment.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respectful engagement with clients and colleagues.
