Project Control Support - Stafford

| Hybrid Working | 6-Month+ Contract

Join a globally recognised engineering company in Stafford as a Project Control Support Specialist, helping drive consistent project execution across international teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact customer projects while developing your professional skills in a collaborative and structured environment.

Role Overview

As part of the global project control team, you'll support the technical leadership in planning, scheduling, and monitoring engineering activities. You'll work closely with Sales, Cost Estimating, Product Engineering, Sourcing, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Location: Office-based in Stafford, with up to 2 days per week from home after successful onboarding.

Rate:£17.90 per hour (AWR/Equal Pay)

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and technical support to project leaders and managers.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work, schedules, and monitoring engineering activities.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure project alignment and delivery.
  • Apply general business knowledge to support project execution.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures and escalate when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Basic experience in Engineering/Technology or Customer Project Engineering.
  • Education equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience with a high school diploma.

Desired:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, and execute project-related activities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
