At Upperthorpe Nursery, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Lunch Cover Assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about providing quality care for children, then we would love to hear from you!
Upperthorpe Nursery is looking for a candidate who enjoys working with children between 0-5 years and wants to work within a well-established team who have a strong interest in child development and are dedicated to promoting children’s wellbeing.
As an Lunch Cover Assistant you will be responsible for:
• Covering staff lunch breaks, working with a variety of different age groups up to 5 years old
• Delivering excellent care and education to the children through fun games and activities;
• Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children in your care;
• Working alongside a team of practitioners to create an engaging environment enabling children to reach their full potential;

We do not require any qualifications for this job role and any short training courses needed e.g. food hygiene training can be delivered on-site.
Regarding working times and hours per week we are flexible about what we can offer you as a Lunch Cover Assistant. We can offer term time only work at around 16 hours per week or we can offer hours all year round. Please get in touch to discuss your preferences.
