Exciting Opportunity – Stores Operative (Full-Time, Permanent)

We’re looking for a dedicated Stores Operative to join our busy production site in Mansfield. If you’ve got experience in warehouse operations, stock management, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this could be the perfect role for you!

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

  Job Purpose

  As a Stores Operative, you’ll be at the heart of daily store operations, ensuring stock flows smoothly between stores and the shop floor. You’ll play a vital role in supporting production, maintaining accurate stock control, and keeping operations running efficiently.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Receive stock, accurately booking items into the system and allocating storage locations.

    
    

  • Pack and prepare parts for production to ensure timely availability.

    
    

  • Manage stock transfers and coordinate movements across departments.

    
    

  • Carry out regular inventory checks and assist with stock-taking.

    
    

  • Maintain stock accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure FIFO stock rotation.

    
    

  • Liaise with colleagues and management to resolve stock and availability issues.

    
    

  • Handle queries quickly and professionally, supporting both internal teams and customers.

    
    Skills & Experience

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for stock records and reporting.

      
      

    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

      
      

    • Experienced in working to tight deadlines without compromising quality.

      
      

    • A real team player, working effectively with colleagues and departments.

      
      

    • Comfortable in fast-paced environments, staying focused and reliable under pressure.
