Social Sustainability Advisor
Location: Livingston, EH54 8AF

We’re looking for a hands-on Social Sustainability Advisor to lead the delivery of ISS’s Social Value Plan across a key regional contract.
This practical, delivery-focused role will see you managing regional initiatives, ensuring commitments are met and maximising value for local communities.

Job Description
As Social Sustainability Advisor, you’ll manage key partnerships, engage stakeholders and track performance against KPIs, ensuring ISS continues to make a positive social impact while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of ISS Social Value Plans at a regional level, ensuring commitments are met and aligned with contract strategy
Collate and report qualitative and quantitative social value data quarterly to demonstrate progress against targets
Develop and maintain case studies of successfully implemented social value initiatives
Stay informed on relevant legislation and local community needs to ensure meaningful programmes are delivered
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including recruitment, employability and L&D teams, to support inclusive recruitment and social value targets
Build and maintain relationships with local schools, job centres and charities to raise awareness and engagement
Promote social value initiatives internally within ISS to upskill colleagues and embed best practices


Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications

Understanding of social value principles and their application in a workplace context
Ability to travel regionally to support delivery of social value initiatives and stakeholder engagement
