Our client is a welcoming and inclusive Catholic faith school located in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames. They embrace diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. The school supports a number of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and this role is key in helping those students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting SEND students in accessing the curriculum and participating in school life
Assisting with break times, lunch, school trips and extracurricular activities
Using positive strategies and behaviour management to promote student safety and engagement
Working closely with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
What We're Looking For:
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting SEND students
Experience supporting SEND or vulnerable individuals in education, healthcare, social care, or youth/community settings
Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow - professional development opportunities will be provided
