We’re looking for a dedicated Class Teacher to join our friendly, supportive team at Montpelier Primary School, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, as soon as possible

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Montpelier Primary School as a Class Teacher. You will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class ensuring equality of opportunity for all. Essential experience will include teaching Upper Key Stage 2.

About Montpelier Primary School:
We are the largest primary school in Plymouth and one of the largest in the South West. Our school family is friendly, innovative and forward thinking. Pupils’ learning behaviours are strong and our staff are highly motivated and experienced. Our school was rated as ‘Good’ in September 2019 and we are delighted to share that in our recent inspection in November 2024, Ofsted shared that ‘Montpelier Primary School has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection’.
Inherent in everything we do is a culture of high expectations and aspiration. We are firm in our belief that every child is unique; with their own strengths and interests. We strive to ensure that every child and adult who is part of our school can be Curious, Creative and Confident.
