Junior Power Apps Developer
Hybrid- Golden Square
Purpose
To support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business-critical solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a junior developer to gain hands-on experience in real-world projects, with guidance from senior team members and exposure to a wide range of business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of Power Apps (Canvas Apps) and Power Automate workflows to support business processes.
- Support integration with Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Dataverse.
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions and contribute to solution design discussions under the guidance of senior developers.
- Carry out testing and debugging of low-code solutions, ensuring applications are robust and user-friendly.
- Document features, data flows, and configuration for developed applications.
- Provide basic support to end users and help resolve common issues with deployed apps and workflows.
- Learn and apply Microsoft-recommended development practices, security policies, and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver intuitive solutions.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 0–1 year of experience with Power Apps and/or Power Automate (academic, internship, or personal projects welcome).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Enthusiastic about low-code/no-code platforms and digital automation.
- Willingness to learn Dataverse, Power Platform architecture, and data relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and structured approach to testing and debugging.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Exposure to Power Platform tools through university coursework, internships, hackathons, or self-led learning.
- Basic knowledge of data concepts (SQL, tables, relationships).
- Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, or Azure services is a plus.
- Microsoft certification (PL-100: Power Platform App Maker or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
