As an Adult ADHD Clinician (Non-Prescribing) youll anchor high-quality assessments and reviews, translating careful clinical reasoning into clear, practical plans that improve daily life at home, work and in relationships. Your week blends remote video clinics with face-to-face sessions at our hubs; youll bring complex cases to a supportive weekly MDT and coordinate seamlessly with the duty prescriber for medication decisions. We protect your time with NICE-aligned pathways, realistic clinic templates, standardised letters and protected admin. Expect supervision, CPD and a values-led team that prizes kindness, rigour and learning. Main duties of the job Deliver structured adult ADHD assessments and reviews, using agreed tools and collateral to form clear, defensible formulations. Provide plain-English feedback and same-day high-quality summaries with practical adjustments for work/study and daily living. Coordinate with the duty prescriber when medication is indicated (baselines, initiation, titration decisions); escalate safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records; uphold safeguarding, consent/capacity and information-governance standards. Present complexity at the weekly MDT; contribute to audit, incident learning and quality improvement; support induction/teaching for new colleagues. Work to realistic clinic timings (guide: 6090 min assessment; 30 min feedback; 30 min review; brief titration calls handled by prescriber), and help the team meet KPIs. Detailed job description & responsibilities Complete diagnostic assessments, annual/interim reviews and written plans aligned to NICE and service SOPs. Communicate proactively with GPs and partner services to ensure joined-up care and smooth shared-care handovers (via prescribers). Participate in MDTs, audit/QI and incident reviews; use data to improve flow (waits, DNAs, documentation timeliness). Support a culture that is trauma-informed, inclusive and improvement-minded.
