If so, come join our fantastic and expanding team of domiciliary Carers covering the West Sussex coast, Brighton to Littlehampton, and help us to provide the best person-centred care possible for our lovely clients in their own homes. Full time/ Part time positions available. Worthing HQ office with 24 hour on-call support.
Duties & responsibilities:
• Companionship
• Helping with personal care
• Helping with mobility around the home
• Supporting on days out
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Key skills required:
• A caring and compassionate nature
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Able-bodied to physically assist clients with their personal care
• Ability to work with initiative and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
• A “can-do” attitude
• Understanding of safeguarding
• Understanding of Health & Safety
Ideally you will have:
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Level 2 in Health & Social care,
• Valid UK driver’s licence and a vehicle.
Benefits:
• £12.21per hours weekdays (7am to 7pm)
• £15 per hour weekends and evenings (7pm to 7am)
