The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of our dedicated staff team. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing tailored support to pupils in lessons, including one-to-one interventions and small group work.
• Assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring all learners can access the curriculum and achieve meaningful progress.
• Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and raise academic outcomes across a range of subjects.
• Acting as a positive role model, inspiring students to strive for excellence in both their academic and personal development.
• Supporting enrichment activities, extra-curricular clubs, and pastoral initiatives that contribute to the life of the school.
This role offers invaluable classroom experience and is an ideal stepping stone into teacher training. Many of our previous Graduate Teaching Assistants have gone on to complete school-based training with us, progressing into highly successful teaching careers.
