About Us - Denholm Bakers is a proud, family-run bakery with over a century of tradition, serving the Wishaw and Motherwell areas with the finest home baking. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team.
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to assist in the daily operations of our busy bakery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our bakery runs smoothly and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene ensuring it is organised and operational
Key responsibilities include washing dishes, pots, and utensils, deep-cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
You will work with dish washing machines to provide the highest level of cleanliness to bakery equipment
Washing pots, pans and equipment
Clean and keep the bakery tidy using cleaning equipment
Keep storerooms clean and tidy
Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times
What We Are Looking For:
A reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Be able to work on your own once the bakery staff have left
Monday - Friday 1pm - 8pm
