We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Personal Assistant to support a young woman who is amazing and who has a learning disability autism, complex emotional needs and can display some challenging behaviours.
You will be required to carry out duties involving supporting a young person and with all aspects of her daily life including personal care and accessing her local community.
As a valued member of the team, we will provide you with the necessary training to ensure you are adequately prepared for the challenges of your role (includes some physical aggression) and given support and guidance.
The successful candidate will be caring, reliable, have a degree of fitness but most of committed to delivering the highest possible standard of care.
Please note we are located in an area not easily accessible via public transport, so applicants will need to be able to reliably commute to work via own transportation.
Employed PA's receive 5.6 weeks annual leave and pension
Duties include:
- Supporting a young person and with all aspects of her daily life including personal care and accessing her local community.
- Following a Positive Behaviour Support plan, to improve the quality of life for the young person.
