Job Summary The Digital, IT, and Transformation Lead will manage, maintain, and support existing projects and infrastructure across the PCN, ensuring they continue to deliver measurable benefits. The role will also involve scoping, planning, and delivering new initiatives, with a strong emphasis on enhancing digital capabilities and optimising IT systems. In addition, the role will provide hands-on IT support to practices within the network, resolving day-to-day issues, supporting the use of digital tools, and ensuring systems are optimised for efficiency, security, and patient benefit. The position will balance operational IT support with strategic digital transformation, underpinned by a quality improvement methodology. Main Responsibilities Transformation Projects Oversee and maintain the delivery of existing transformation projects, ensuring sustainability and ongoing benefits. Scope, plan, and implement new transformation initiatives, working with clinical and management teams to ensure alignment with PCN priorities. Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of all transformation projects, producing reports and recommendations for improvement; present findings to stakeholders at monthly PCN meetings Draft and prepare reports to support financial claims, working closely with PCN managers to ensure timely submission to the Integrated Care Board IT Support and Infrastructure Act as the first point of contact for IT queries within the PCN, providing hands-on technical support to practices. Troubleshoot and resolve software and connectivity issues promptly to minimise disruption. Liaise with our external IT supplier to escalate and resolve more complex issues. Ensure implementation of systems complies with NHS England, GDPR, and cybersecurity requirements. Training and Digital Capability Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of clinical systems, digital tools, and IT processes. Ensure all new staff receive induction on the PCNs IT systems and digital resources. Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and knowledge resources for practices. Data and Reporting Support practices in using business intelligence tools to extract, interpret, and act on data. Promote high standards of data quality and integrity across the network. Collaboration and Communication Work in partnership with PCN leadership, practice managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and effective IT operations. Communicate technical information in a clear, non-technical way to varied audiences.
