We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove District and Redditch to assist with the appointment of an Assistant HR Business Partner, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.12 - £20.42 per hour

Responsibilities:

To provide advice to managers and employees on human resource policies and procedures and terms and conditions of service.
To monitor human resource policies, and advise senior management of any concerns, risks and changes to legislation.
To co-ordinate, develop and provide guidance to ensure consistency and good practice in recruitment and selection across the organisation.
To design and deliver in house training courses
Qualifications:

Part Qualified CIPD, or actively working towards
Experience and Knowledge:

Experience of working within a Human Resource environment
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to employees at all levels within the authority
Experience of providing advice to management to help manage change or resolve employment issues
Knowledge of employment law.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to research projects and contribute to policy development
Ability to take a planned and systematic approach to tasks
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Effective presentation skills and training design and delivery experience
Ability to use Word and Excel effectively to present information to others
