Ambitek are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Gas Heating Engineer to join their busy team in the Norfolk area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems.
Role Overview
As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating systems within domestic properties, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. You will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service, resolving issues promptly, and upholding the highest safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems.
Deliver excellent customer care when working with clients and tenants, maintaining professional standards at all times.
Provide clear communication on job progress and updates, ensuring accurate electronic and manual paperwork is completed.
Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH regulations.
Follow company procedures for stock ordering and auditing to ensure correct parts are available for jobs.
Participate in out-of-hours cover on a rota basis (evenings and weekends).
Key Requirements
Current and valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (minimum).
Proven experience in servicing and repairing domestic heating systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Flexibility to work out-of-hours as part of a rota.
All successful applicants will be subject to reference and criminal record checks.
