What you’ll be doing:
• Assisting in the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for our pupils
• Supporting the smooth running of our busy kitchen service
• Serving meals to children and staff with a smile
• Keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and safe
• Working alongside our catering and support staff to create a welcoming lunchtime environment
What we’re looking for:
• A positive, friendly attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Some experience of working in a kitchen or catering environment (school experience is a bonus, but not essential)
• An understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training can be provided)
• Someone who enjoys working around children and takes pride in supporting their wellbeing
St Anne’s C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required as the post will involve regulated activity. The appointment will also be subject to satisfactory medical checks and two suitable references. References will, ideally, be taken up for shortlisted candidates prior to interview. We may also complete online checks following shortlisting.
