The role:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic teacher of Religious Studies with the skills and ability to lead on our RE provision at Heritage High School. If you were successful for this position, you will join our high-performing, forward thinking and cohesive Humanities faculty. Religious Studies is highly valued in school and as a Trust with this new and exciting opportunity arising due to the expansion of Religious Studies across the school. You may be an experienced subject leader or looking for your first leadership post and as Head of Department at our school you will lead all aspects of learning and teaching in this curriculum area, ensuring that students’ needs for all abilities are met and achievement and progress is positive.
The person:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved. They will demonstrate the ability to engage positively with staff, parents and students and to promote ambition, respectful behaviour and good citizenship.
Teaching roles: Applicants must be able to attend the school in person if selected for interview.
