We are recruiting for a Senior Contracts & Performance Manager to join our Finance Team.

You'll be primarily responsible for the negotiation and production of legally binding healthcare contracts with Commissioners and other provider organisations.  Using your own in-depth legal, contracting and commercial expertise, you'll deliver an innovative and ambitious approach to the Trust’s business obligations and opportunities.

This is a key role supporting the Head of Business services with leading the Trust performance management framework aligned to national strategies, regulatory requirements and local Trust requirements; ensuring effective communication is achieved at all levels across the Trust and to all relevant external stakeholders and agencies.

Main duties of the job

  • To lead and support Healthcare contract negotiations with Commissioners to achieve mutually agreed outcomes which provide contracts which protect and develop the Trust’s interests whilst providing competitive terms for Commissioners
  • To ensure that contract negotiation outcomes are effectively communicated to all parties who need to be aware of them at a level of detail necessary to their needs and obligations under the contract
To ensure that effective contract documentation is prepared, updated (and version-controlled) and is appropriately accessible both inside and external to the Trust and the trusts contract register is maintained as an accurate reflection of current Income & Expenditure Healthcare contracts.
  • Support the Head of Business services to lead the Performance Management Framework aligned to internal and external standards and targets, including internal reporting to all levels of the Trust and external reporting to national bodies. Use the framework to ensure delivery against all regulatory, quality and performance targets for all activities of the Operational Directorates in the context of local and national priorities.
