Job Title : Substance Misuse Worker
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Full time / 37.5 hours per week
Type: Permanent and Temp opportunities

Pay: £20 - £22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
In this Substance Misuse Worker role your responsibilities will include:
- Support and build relationships with service users, provide 1-2-1 sessions, risk assessment & care plans / harm reduction plans
- Provide face to face appointments with adults suffering with issues related substance misuse
- To engage with service users in a variety of interventions aimed at increasing choice and control in their lives, using a person centred, assertive outreach approach
- Provide brief and longer-term structured interventions
- Develop & review care plans with service users throughout their journey
- Provide safer injecting advice & urine screening in service.
Skills and Experience
- DBS on update service.
- Experience within a similar role
- Driver & access to own vehicle
- Drug testing experience would be desirable
