Rothley Church of England Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This part time role is for one day (Thursday) plus two afternoons each week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
This role within the school is important and rewarding, providing class/one to one support to pupils (depending on the needs of the school) who need additional help with their learning, and supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) and other learning programs to those pupils who need it most, helping them access learning opportunities to be the very best that they can be.
We are looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic person who has good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
You’ll work alongside our friendly and talented staff, helping to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and able to achieve their best. In return, we offer a welcoming school community, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real difference in children’s lives.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable and relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.
