Thank you taking an interest in joining our school as a Family Engagement Officer.
Our vision at Pentrehafod School is to provide all students with access to the best knowledge, skills, and experiences to ensure ambition for all members of our community. To achieve this, we expect all students to embrace our student values for success which are: Ready, Respect, Resilient, Safe. This cannot happen if students are not in school. Hence, the role of the Family Engagement Officer is crucial if our students are to ‘Be The Best That They Can Be’.
To work with the attendance team to meet the day-to-day needs of targeted students and their families who present with attendance issues to re-engage them in the learning process. In addition, you will undertake various tasks, including contributing to students’ records and helping to manage and coordinate students’ welfare and well-being support. You will also work closely with the Assistant Head, Learning Leaders, Raising Standards leader and teaching staff.
