We are looking for a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for:
• Supervising and caring for the children in Breakfast Club, by assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of a variety of activities
• Interacting with children and overseeing their activities, ensuring safety both indoors and outdoors
• Ensuring children are behaving appropriately and in line with the schools behaviour policy at all times
• Being aware of and responding to Health & Safety issues promptly
• Being a strong, positive role model for the children and other staff• Supporting children through the meal time• Following the school's policy and procedures on child protection and attending any relevant training provided• Working with colleagues to set up and clear away the Breakfast Club• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Previous experience is not necessary, but you must be willing and able to attend relevant training.

Hours of work: 6.25 hours per week. Monday to Friday 7.30am-8.45am. 38 working week per year - term time onlyThe Park and Parkwall Primary Schools Federation consists of two primary schools:
• Park Primary School is a large school in Kingswood
• Parkwall Primary School is a smaller school in Cadbury Heath.
