TeacherActive is currently supporting a number of Bristol secondary schools in search of confident and adaptable Maths Teachers for upcoming supply roles starting in September 2025. Whether you're an experienced Maths Teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, we’d love to connect you with schools where you can thrive, inspire students, and make an impact — without the full-time commitment.

Supply teaching offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to build relationships with schools across the city. We are especially interested in hearing from Maths Teachers who are passionate about their subject and confident delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. Opportunities to teach KS5 may also be available, depending on your experience.

The ideal Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a specialism in Mathematics (newly qualified teachers encouraged to apply)

  
  

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Maths (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  
  

• Good classroom and behaviour management skills

  
  

• A flexible, professional approach and the ability to hit the ground running

  
  

• A passion for education and building student confidence in Maths
