About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to join a fantastic school in Leeds. This is a full-time, immediate start position that offers the chance to make a profound impact on the lives of students. The role involves working closely with students who have a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as students with special educational needs. You will be a vital member of the team, providing one-on-one and small-group support to help students overcome barriers to learning, build their confidence, and achieve their full potential. What is required from you:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a support role.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEN/SEMH.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

- The ability to build rapport with students.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
- Problem-solving and adaptability.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Support students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials tailored to individual needs.
- Support students during classroom activities and school events.
- Promote positive behaviour and social skills.
- Act as a key point of contact for students, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
