The Role
We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic English Teacher to join a thriving and supportive team in Bradford. This is a full-time position, with a start date as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their very best. This role requires a commitment to a high standard of teaching and learning, a dedication to pastoral care, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge of the English Language and Literature curricula.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to students across all abilities.
- Assessing, monitoring, and providing constructive feedback on student progress.
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities or clubs.
- Upholding the school's high standards of behaviour and conduct.
- Undertaking pastoral duties as a form tutor, supporting student well-being.
- Staying up-to-date with current pedagogical practices and subject knowledge.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
