Summary
Our client based in Birch Coppice Business Park urgently requires 7.5t Drivers. Possibility of a permanent job after a successful trial period .Start time - 05:30 (Roughly 10 hours shifts with a 1hr unpaid break). This role is over a 60 mile radius. £13.50ph. Overtime paid at £20.25ph after 45 paid hours.
Duties include as a 7.5t Driver:
- Multi drop deliveries of up to between 17 and 23 drops per day.
- Deliveries are made using pump truck and sack barrel, all stock is palletised (multiple customers on one pallet)
- Drivers are required to break down the pallets and deliver inside customer premises. Not doorstep deliveries.
- Ensure that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
- Ensuring duties are carried out within legal requirements.
- Ensuring all scheduled deliveries and collections are completed on time, in full on a daily basis.
- Delivering to customers as directed and assist with unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested. Reporting any problems with delivery sites.
- Ensuring that all POD paperwork is correct and signed for either on paper or electronically using Microlise device.
- Presenting a professional image to the customer, be pleasant and comply with company dress requirements.
Requirements for 7.5T Drivers:
- Driving Licence C1 Category
- Driver Digital Driver Card
- Driver Qualification Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
