Job Title: GCSE Science Tutor
Location: Thamesmead, London
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging tuition across GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
- Consolidate KS3 knowledge while introducing key GCSE concepts to strengthen exam prep.
- Personalise lesson plans to target gaps in understanding and build learner confidence.
- Support students with SEN by adapting teaching methods to ensure accessibility and motivation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in Scienc at KS3/GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
- QTS or a Science related degree.
- Experience preparing students for GCSE exams.
- Expereince supporting learners with SEN.
