Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional with a passion for helping children thrive? Long Term Futures are looking for a skilled Primary Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school community in the vibrant borough of Lambeth.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the support team, specialising in helping children and young people with their academic and emotional well-being. Your primary goal will be to enable students to concentrate, access the curriculum, and reach their full potential.
What you'll do
- Provide essential in-class support to pupils, individually or in small groups.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
- Build pupil confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, sharing observations and contributing to planning.
Who we're looking for
We need someone who has a warm, empathetic approach and a strong understanding of how to support young learners. You'll be adaptable, professional, and possess strong interpersonal skills to connect with children, staff, and parents effectively.
To be successful, you must have previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant and experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1).
The Application Journey
Our process is designed to be clear and straightforward, ensuring you know what to expect at each step.
- Step 1: Apply with your updated CV.
- Step 2: Have a call with one of our expert consultants to discuss the role and your career aspirations.
- Step 3: Complete our compliance checks, including onboarding.
- Step 4: Meet the school and attend a trial day to see if it's the right fit for you.
