Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to friday 8:30am- 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and develop independence.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies and learning plans.
- Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development, promoting confidence and resilience.
- Adapt learning resources to suit the individual needs of the child.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and external professionals where appropriate.
Additional requirements:
o References confirming suitability for role
o Commitment to Safeguarding
o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
o Eligibility to work in the UK
