SEND Teacher – Secondary (Primary Curriculum) | Taunton

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
We are seeking a dedicated teacher to work full-time with students aged 11–16 in Taunton, delivering learning at a Primary Curriculum level to children with a range of additional needs, including:

• ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

  
  

• MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)

  
  

• SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)

  
  

• PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)

  
  

• Complex needs

  
  

  The Role:

  • Full-time teaching in a supportive SEND school environment

    
    

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs

    
    

  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom where every student can thrive

    
    

  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to achieve the best outcomes

    
    

    What We’re Looking For:

    • QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification

      
      

    • Experience teaching students with SEND, ideally across a range of needs

      
      

    • Knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and how to adapt it for older learners

      
      

    • Patience, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference
