Job description:
Crown Milling, part of the successful Cranswick PLC group, are looking for an Engineer to work nights across our 2 Mills, located in Kenninghall & Hoxne.
Summary
As Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the Mills
Hours of Work:
Working hours will be on a 3-week rota cycle – shifts being – 1) 0600 – 1500 Hoxne including on call cover 2) Kenninghall 0600 – 1500 and 3) Kenninghall 1300 – 2200
You will be responsible for on call overnight if the Mill(s) needed attention outside of working hours, added as ad hoc duties due to irregularity of breakdowns.

To comply with relevant Engineering specifications, and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and current legislation.
Complete/task engineering workload in conjunction with the Engineering Manager and Operations colleagues.
Ensure the company assets are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency.
Undertake planned maintenance tasks as instructed to the relevant engineering and safety standards.
Undertake remedial engineering works to equipment or site as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
To ensure plant and equipment downtime is kept to a minimum.
To respond to breakdowns in a time efficient manner
Requirements/Experience
Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably Milling related)
Excellent level of attendance and timekeeping
Full driving licence is essential
