The provision of professional, clinical and service leadership for Practitioner Psychologist staff working within CAMHS, which will include ensuring clear systems are in place for recruitment, supervision governance and the maintenance of professional standards through advice and interpretation of HCPC and BPS guidelines and Trust policies As a member of the Quadrant Senior Leadership team, to work closely with the quadrant Community CAMHS Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist(s) and other senior members of the quadrant MDT to provide professional leadership for psychological therapy staff working within the quadrant MDT and to be responsible for the provision and development of psychological services within the MDT, in accordance with CAPA and CYP-IAPT principles. To provide specialist assessment and treatment of children and adolescents and their families and carers to a consultant level of expertise and based upon sound psychological principles and techniques To provide specialist consultation to team members and outside partnership agencies to a consultant level of expertise To lead in the evaluation and monitoring of the effective utilisation of Practitioner Psychologists, co-ordinating and supervising programmes of research within this area and seeking funding where appropriate To initiate, lead and support the development of evidence based practice within psychology and wider CAMHS, ensuring it is culturally responsive, equitable, accessible, and consistent To proactively lead and influence broader psychological working within the wider CAMHS workforce, advising on appropriate training and support to the wider staff group, and ensuring that all staff work in accordance with CAPA and CYP-IAPT principles and practice To hold a caseload including cases of a highly complex nature and be responsible for delivering safe and effective clinical practice within the designated area via a structured programme of Clinical Governance
