We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Specialist, E-Commerce Trade.In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day trading of the online store and ad-hoc administration tasks, to ensure all channels perform to the optimum level for the LFC global fans.

You will work closely with the wider E-Commerce Trade Team, UX, Retail Marketing, Retail Merchandising & Retail Product Team to maximise cross channel sales.

What will you be doing?

Trading

  • Assist the Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Trade & Manager, E-Commerce Trade in delivering the trading calendar. Assisting in campaign planning & setup, to ensure products/categories/landing pages are ready for a launch.
  • Assist the Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Trade to complete administration trading tasks across all LFC Retail E-commerce stores. Ensuring the brand is represented to the highest quality and consistent across all sites.
  • Work towards delivering and exceeding the annual sales/profit plan for all E-commerce stores against the set budget.
  • Support the Senior Specialist, E-Commerce Trade in uploading and optimising homepage, category and landing page content.
  • Use the Trading Calendar and working relationship with Retail Marketing team to ensure products featured in upcoming social posts/emails are optimised for conversion and sequenced accordingly.
  • Curate user-generated content in Yotpo and generation/maintenance of visual galleries.
  • Ad hoc Warehouse Management Platform (WMP) tasks; barcode checking, reviewing orders, checking stock.
  • Assist wider team in setting up and testing new promotions.
  • Complete on-site search & category merchandising optimisation via smart merchandising tool
  • Provide support on SEO optimisation tasks were necessary.
  • Ensure International web storeviews are consistent with the Global Store and identify any opportunities for International development.
  • Ongoing competitor analysis.

Payments

  • Administration of payment disputes, ensuring customers are communicated with at all stages of the dispute process, and aim to resolve cases as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.
  • Administer the customer refund process; processing of manual and failed refunds.

Customer Experience

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure customers have the best possible experience.
  • Liaise with the DC & Customer Experience to resolve customer service queries and tackle issues with orders.
  • Review customer feedback and answer product related questions.

Reporting/Analytics

  • Compile accurate reports on trading performance, including product categories and ranges.
  • Manipulate data effectively in Excel, to circulate key product and sales data to the wider team and other departments. Creating pivot tables, using conditional formatting and formulas such as V Lookup / X Lookup and Concatenate.
  • Utilise Google Analytics to track key KPIs connected to campaign launches and promotions
  • Use full suite of connected E-Commerce tools and platforms to execute ad-hoc reports/analytics on request

Site Testing

  • Plan and carry out functional and end-to-end testing of desktop, mobile, and tablet applications.
  • Replicate and raise site bugs with internal Product Owners
  • Execute ad-hoc functional testing on request.
  • Complete ongoing site testing & post-campaign launch checks.
  • Review session recordings in ContentSquare were appropriate; escalate any issues.

General

  • Support E-Commerce Content/UX team at peak times of year to assist in tasks.
  • Use of DC warehouse systems for E-Commerce tasks.
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks required by the team

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have a retail background and experience using systems.You’ll have Google Analytics experience and be a quick learner, with the ability to learn how to use new systems, processes and platforms.It is desirable to have a professional qualification in Business, Marketing, IT or a related discipline and previous experience in an e-commerce.You must have excellent administration and IT skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office products, including data manipulation in Excel & creating reports in PowerPoint.

You will be able to demonstrate strong skills in problem-solving, organizational and multi-tasking, as well as strong task management and time management capabilities. You’ll also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will have the ability to showcase a methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy and quality, as well as demonstrate initiative and the ability to be proactive, while also being able to follow instructions.You’ll have the ability to work under pressure to tight project deadlines or targets and can adapt to differing demands, prioritising tasks where appropriate. You will be available for flexible working hours around key trading moments.
