Job description:
Summary:
Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state-of-the-art processing site with great facilities in Eye, Suffolk. We have an opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team.
Shift pattern:
Monday- Friday 08.00 -17.00
Duties and responsibilities:
· Purchase ledger and associated work two days a week and reporting/adherence of and to.
· Close off the purchase ledger, balance intercompany accounts and statement reconciliations each financial period along with any other monthly tasks required.
· Monthly Environmental reporting.
· Assist in the production of weekly management accounts.
· Ensure Brexit paperwork and proceedures adhered to.
· Attendance at Quarterly stocktakes as and when required.
· Promote a culture of rigorous financial control and assist with improvements to processes and procedures
· Assist in production of annual budget.
· Provide data insight and analysis
Essential Qualifications:
· Studying for CIMA or ACCA
· Strong Excel skills
· Good communicator
· Motivated and able to prioritise demanding workloads
· Capable of working on confidential and sensitive issues with discretion
· AAT part-qualified, ledger accounting experience
Desirable:
· Worked in manufacturing environment
· Experience of ERP system
Pay and Benefits:
£25,000 -£35,000 per year depending on experience
