Monday to Friday | ⏱ 50 hours per week

Driver Hire Edinburgh City is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a well-established local team, operating specialist sweepers across the Edinburgh area. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply – full training will be provided!
Your Key Responsibilities:
Driving a left-hand drive Class 2 sweeper (full training given)
Operating sweeper equipment on public roads and construction sites
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and following all safety procedures
Navigating local routes with care and attention to detail
Completing basic paperwork and maintaining the cleanliness of your vehicle
✅ What You’ll Need:
A full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
CPC qualification and a valid Digital Tachograph card
Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
A positive and proactive approach to work
No prior sweeper experience necessary – full training provided
What’s On Offer:
✔ £14.00 per hour PAYE (or £15.69 with holiday pay included)
✔ Monday to Friday – weekends off
✔ 50 hours per week – consistent, full-time hours
✔ Temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks
