Person requires daily support with social interaction
Preferred days/times:
10.5 hours per week
Either 1.5 hours a day or to be used flexibly to allow access to culturally appropriate services such as on a Saturday
Tasks/duties:
Support with completing personal care (four times a week), meal prep, medication prompts and accessing community services.
PA is required to have a vehicle and a clean, full, UK driving licence.
30 miles at 45p a mile will be paid by the client for travel for an employed PA
Client main diagnosis:
Early stages of dementia
Communication:
The client speaks Polish and has a pen that they write with which translates for them. Their daughter is also available to support if needed
To be able to speak Polish would be an advantage
Client enjoys:
Cultural community services, they enjoy conversation and working with wood to create things like mechanical cars and boats
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, positive, proactive and ideally multi-lingual
