You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor based in the Walsall area operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and established contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry, delivering non-infrastructure works directly for Severn Trent Water, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and with a strong pipeline of major AMP8 projects, they are actively seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
As Electrical Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and delivering electrical works on non-infrastructure water projects
- Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and resolve potential technical issues
- Preparing and reviewing documentation, including RAMS and technical reports
- Developing project scopes and technical specifications
- Overseeing contractors and suppliers, ensuring works comply with technical, quality and safety standards
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Experience within a project engineering capacity in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of CDM regulations and knowledge of health and safety protocols
- Background in electrical engineering
- Full UK driving licence.
