Darlington Borough Councilandnbsp;are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic, supportive and committed team of SEND Officers.



SEND Officers are responsible for co-ordinating Education Health and Care Plan Assessments and for managing the Education Health and Care Plan processes which include,andnbsp;attending and processing Annual Reviews. The successful applicant must have a sound knowledge and understanding of SEND Legislation, SEND Code of Practice and must have the ability to deal with and organise large amounts of technical and assessmentandnbsp;information into concise documents.



Experience of working within SEND is essential, however,andnbsp;writing and reviewing EHCPand#39;s would be desirable butandnbsp;not essential as training will be provided.andnbsp;andnbsp;For detailed information on this role, please refer to the Role Profile and Person Specification.
