Assembly Operative – Mansfield
Salary: £12.78 per hour / £2,215 Monthly / £26,582.40 annually
Contract: Temp to Perm | Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00

We’re recruiting Assembly Operatives to join the growing production team at Glenair in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking secure, ongoing work with the chance to go permanent after a successful trial period.
Whether you have experience as an assembly operative, production operative, or have worked in roles requiring precision (like crafting or model making), we want to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing as an Assembly Operative:
• Assembling products following technical drawings and specifications
• Working with small, intricate components using hand tools and magnification equipment (full training provided)
• Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
• Following detailed instructions and meeting production targets
• Keeping your workspace clean and adhering to health & safety policies
• Adapting flexibly to different tasks and work areas
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent attention to detail and dexterity for small components
• Calm and focused under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines
• Positive team-player with good communication skills
• Previous experience as an assembly operative, production operative, or similar role is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• This role would be great for anyone who has a hobby that involves working with small parts – crafters, model painters, nail technicians, jewellery makers, watch repairers, electronics hobbyists, model train enthusiasts, knitters, embroidery or cross-stitchers, scale model builders, miniature painters, beading enthusiast etc!
