Company Overview
Ganita Corp Ltd is a UK-based private equity firm with a specialised focus on India’s small and mid-cap business sector. We invest in and partner with high-potential companies, supporting their growth from early expansion to strategic exits. With operations in the UK and India, our approach combines global perspective with strong local expertise to create long-term value.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our UK office starting 1st October 2025. This is a key role for a motivated professional with experience in financial analysis, operations finance, and supply chain management. The successful candidate will contribute to investment research, financial modelling, and portfolio monitoring, gaining hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from deal evaluation to reporting and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
1) Conduct detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting to support investment and operational decisions.
2) Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comparables, and sensitivity analysis) to evaluate opportunities.
3) Analyse market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and sector data to support deal assessments.
4) Support financial due diligence, transaction processes, and preparation of investment materials.
5) Deliver management reports, dashboards, and KPIs for portfolio monitoring and decision-making.
6) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, advisors, and legal partners to evaluate financial and operational risks.
7) Assist with post-investment monitoring, strategy execution, and performance improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
1) 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, operations finance, procurement, or related fields.
2) Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimisation.
3) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
4) Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
5) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, supply chain management, or a related field.
6) Familiarity with Indian SMEs, regulatory environment, or emerging markets is an advantage.
7) Language proficiency: English (required); Hindi or another Indian language (required).
What We Offer
1) Competitive annual salary of £35,000(starting).
2) 1 month paid statutory holiday.
3) A multicultural and inclusive work environment.
4) Direct exposure to investment evaluation, procurement strategies, and financial decision-making.
5) Opportunities for continuous learning, professional growth, and cross-border collaboration.
6) Cycle to Work Scheme.
