Join us as a Business Performance and Governance Lead at NatWest Boxed
- This is an opportunity to take on a highly visible role that will help us run the company and deliver on our strategic goals
- We’ll look to you to own, manage and continuously improve our governance framework and processes, drive our operating rhythm, the performance management of Boxed and deliver key processes to run the company effectively (including business continuity and property matters)
- You'll be facilitating and providing key inputs to the development of our strategy, and product development
- You’ll be recognised driving a strong aptitude for driving results and structure, while engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders and building your network across the bank
What you'll do
You'll be leading the Business Delivery team at NatWest Boxed which will place you at the heart of our executive team as we continue to develop our exciting new BaaS product; Every day will present a new challenge as you support the Executive team to deliver our business strategy, define and manage our operating rhythm and drive the implementation of processes that are aligned to organisation-wide policy and business frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Making sure performance and business management activities are aligned to the organisation-wide strategic agenda, leading the planning coordination and delivery with our executive team
- Becoming a strong stakeholders across Boxed who is able to challenge the business performance and to guide/influence the operating rhythm
- Drive the performance management against OKR and KPI and run a strong process to monitor performance and drive actions
- Setting, overseeing and implementing corporate governance frameworks and processes efficiently within your business to ensure compliance and empower the executive team in effective decision making
- Providing goal and objective tracking and measurement for reporting
- Overseeing the implementation of strategic recommendations, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the bank to get input and agreement
- Working closely with our Executive team in an advisory and challenging capacity in line with the organisation’s standards
The skills you'll need
It’s crucial that you can evidence strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to influence at Executive level. You’ll bring strong experience of setting up and running governance frameworks and processes and you’ll be able to absorb complex information and provide advice balancing commercial and risk factors. You will have a strong commercial sense to be able to oversee and manage Boxed business performance.
We’ll also expect you to have:
- Excellent experience of working in a leadership support or business management role
- Experience managing a Business Delivery team ensuring your direct reports are motivated, happy and engaged to achieve high performance
- Experience of working with multiple business initiatives and priorities, both individually and through leadership of a team
- Strong PowerPoint skills, communication skills (both verbally and in writing), and interpersonal presence
