What skills and experience we're looking for
School Administrator
We are seeking to appoint a part-time School Administrator for our school. The School Administrator will work alongside a School Business Manager. The appointment will be for 20.5 hours per week, which will be one full day from 8:30am to 3:30pm on Fridays and four days from 12:00 to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday. This is a Term-Time Only (TTO) contract plus the 5 staff training days each year. The post will also have an additional element of 10 hours in our After-School Club, working from 3:30 – 5:30pm every day.
The post holder will be expected to provide an effective administrative support service to the Headteacher and the School. Alongside the School Administrator, we will have a part-time School Business Manager. We are committed to the professional development of our staff and will offer support where necessary.
The post holder will work within the busy environment of the school office managing the administration for the school, providing an administrative and reception service, where excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential in order to handle the variety of tasks the need to be undertaken. Experience of working in a school office or dealing and health and safety and confidential information would be advantageous. A full job description and person specification is available.
