What skills and experience we're looking for
Resilient staff willing to work and support our young adults to become as independent as possible
Staff who are confident and competent to work with the young adults within school and also the local community
To understand and be prepared for the physicality of the role.
GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths – desirable
First-aid training, or willingness to complete it
Minibus test, or willingness to complete it
NVQ Level 3
Significant experience working with young adults with significant learning disabilities who can display extremely challenging behaviour. This can be in a school setting, residential setting or via social care setting.
