What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for hardworking and committed individuals to take on the vital role of After School Club Assistant. As an After School Club Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and activities in a secure and welcoming setting for children. This provision supports parents by offering a reliable and enriching after school experience while ensuring children remain engaged and cared for.

The successful candidate must:

• Enjoy working with and supporting primary age children
• Be confident in dealing with children, maintaining discipline and ensuring their overall wellbeing
• Be able to work effectively in a busy environment
• Be able to communicate with children, colleagues and parents/carers
• Be able to help set up and lead engaging activities, such as arts, crafts, games, and group play
• Be able to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children, providing care and support
