What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive, and highly efficient Food Technology Technician to join our large and vibrant secondary school, which has been recognised as an outstanding school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated, flexible, and keen to support high-quality teaching and learning within our busy Design & Technology department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the delivery of practical lessons in Food Technology
Sourcing, preparing, and ensuring the safe storage of food and equipment
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and placing orders as required
The ideal candidate will:
Have a genuine interest in food and nutrition
Be flexible and able to work independently, using their initiative
Be highly organised with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a professional manner at all times
