Crynodeb
Plas Derwen is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, empathetic and skilled Teaching Assistants / Pastoral Support workers to work within the team. This is an important post, working with pupils experiencing Behavioural, Emotional and Social difficulties across our sites within Flintshire. The role will involve liaison with pupils, parents, school staff and outside agencies where appropriate. Together we work to support our pupils to reach their full potential and to access a meaningful education. Training and support will be provided for the successful candidates. This is a great opportunity to gain a varied position working within Plas Derwen to support learners across Flintshire. Further enquiries are welcomed by the school. The post is a 12 month fixed term contract initially and is for 30 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 training days. As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children, and/or vulnerable adults the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check.
